Well, it’s September 15th and we’re still enjoying Jekyll Harbor Marina. Actually, we love it here!  The marina is small and privately owned with about 50 slips. Everyone is over-the-moon nice, the restaurant has delicious food, and the venue is just what you’d expect to see in the south with canopies of massive centuries-old, moss laden, oak trees, meandering walking paths, picnic tables and seating scattered about and lots of grass for the doggies.  Oh yeah, and HOT/HUMID days with…

Friday morning, August 20th we checked out of our motel and arrived at the boatyard at 7:30 AM where the boat yard crew was ready to splash us. Scout was hung in the travel lift slings the night before so Michael could finish the bottom paint.
