We felt quite protected in our sweet little Bow Tie Marina last night. We counted at least eight US Coast Guard boats tied up or on shore-side trailers as we docked and later learned the marina is also the home of the Lake Charles Coast Guard Station. We awoke to a stunning sunrise this morning after spending a beautiful relaxing night at anchor. We were the only boat in the cove and it was quiet, protected and lovely although there was no shoreline for the doggies to go ashore and do their business. In our Marina ~ on our dock ~ in the slip right next to us! Gold Loopers Mark and Maridee aboard Folie a Deux just returned from their seven year Loop Adventure.
